Para a produção da ilustração foram estabelecidos alguns pontos chave, como a morte de um dos personagens, a mata destruída e um clima seco.
The play The Bridge: Memories of a Suspended Cry, explores the sad reality of the destruction of the Amazon rainforest and the murder of the region's riverside peoples. The plot explores a true story.
For the production of the illustration, some key points were established, such as the death of one of the characters, the destroyed forest and a dry climate.
A ilustração foi feita totalmente com técnicas de pintura digital, porém, simulando uma pintura à óleo. As cores em tons pastéis buscam evidenciar a tragédia em primeiro plano, com o personagem morto, assim como as árvores queimadas. O sol é apenas uma mancha vermelha no céu, assim como quando as fumaças das queimadas bloqueiam a luz solar.
The illustration was done entirely using digital painting techniques, but simulating an oil painting. The pastel colors seek to highlight the tragedy in the foreground, with the dead character, as well as the burnt trees. The sun is just a red spot in the sky, just as when the smoke from the fires blocks out the sunlight.
